Wayfinding System in HKDI
The wayfinding system in HKDI was installed along with the campus opening in 2010. Many users complained the inefficient wayfinding system is unable to find their way and affects the user experience. In order to tackle the problems, the entire wayfinding system needs to redesign by conducting sufficient research on the architecture and the users to develop a new strategy for wayfinding.
This project aims to study the problems of the existing system and design an aesthetically, securely, functional and reliable wayfinding system. It empowers them with clear directions and a sense of a place to reach their destination and also enhances the image and confidence of HKDI.
